Get active, have fun and save the planet!
ViMove for Climate begins again on 14 June 2021
Viessmann’s highly popular and impactful #ViMoveForClimate initiative is back, giving you the opportunity to help restore and protect the world’s natural environment simply by getting active this summer.
For the fifth time in two years, everyone in the Viessmann community around the world is invited to run, walk or cycle as many kilometres as they can to tackle climate change. For every 1 km travelled on foot, or 3 km by bike, Viessmann donates a tree through a range of carefully selected environmental projects. Over 630,000 trees have already been planted since the launch of ViMove for Climate and there are over 20 different sports activities with which to contribute.
Inspired by the need to protect the environment for future generations, over 6,000 Viessmann employees, partners, installers, families and friends have so far taken part in almost 50 countries. Together they’ve covered more than 623,000 km. In the last round, in Spring 2021, over 300,000 trees were planted. This time, we’re increasing our target by one third to 200,000 trees – and we need your help! We’re calling on all employees, installers and customers (in fact everyone is welcome) to grow the community by involving friends and family too.
“It’s been really exciting to see the momentum of this initiative, with so many thousands of people joining in across the globe.” said Darren McMahon, Viessmann UK marketing director. “ It gives everyone involved a real sense of being part of something that is making a genuine difference, instead of feeling powerless in the face of climate change.
“Viessmann has a long history of environmental innovation. Our customers reduce CO2 emissions by 500,000 tons each year just by replacing old boilers with our energy efficient technology. ViMove gives them another way to help the planet, which also happens to be healthy and fun. And it’s so easy to take part!”
Round five of the ViMove for Climate campaign begins on 14 June 2021 and, this time, there is no time limit to take part. Find out more about the initiative and how to get involved by visiting: Viessmann ViMove.
