This year, we’ve been so proud to sponsor the HIP Learner of the Year and Female Skills competitions. They bring together Level 2 and Level 3 plumbing apprentices from across the country to show off their incredible skills by taking part in a plumbing challenge.
In this special blog post, we look back on the amazing achievements accomplished and give you an exclusive insight into both competitions.
HIP 2024
There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.
Refecting on her time as a judge for the HIP Skills competitions, Toni said:

Toni's Top Tips for the HIP competitions
Before diving into tasks, take a moment to plan how you will approach the task. Break down the allotted time into smaller increments for each aspect of the competition. Prioritise tasks based on their importance and complexity, allowing more time for critical components while ensuring you leave enough time for completion.
Take advantage of the opportunity to connect with fellow participants, judges, and industry professionals. Networking can open doors to new opportunities and valuable insights. Don't hesitate to ask questions, seek feedback, and learn from others' experiences. Remember, growth often happens outside your comfort zone.
