Vitorondens 200-T cast iron oil condensing boiler and Vitocell DHW cylinder

Cast iron oil condensing boiler

The Vitorondens 200-T is a floorstanding cast iron oil condensing boiler with an attractive price/performance ratio. The dimensions of the cast iron boiler are impressively compact and it is particularly suitable for modernisation projects. This is because it is particularly easy to install thanks to its individual components (with Vitorondens 200-T from 67.6 to 107.3 kW).

For models up to 53.7 kW, the thermal insulation and control unit are pre-assembled, thus saving time during installation. DHW cylinders from Viessmann's comprehensive range are available for the Vitorondens 200-T.

Hybrid Ready  Modernise a condensing boiler now and simply add renewable energy later on

Viessmann condensing boilers are all set for the easy addition of renewable energy or integration into hybrid systems consisting of a heat pump and solar thermal. This means that Viessmann condensing boilers can be used for futureproof modernisation and easily retrofitted later on with renewable heat generators.

Special features of the Vitorondens 200-T

Vitoflame 300 blue flame oil burner

The Vitoflame 300 Unit blue flame oil burner is designed for all commercially available EL fuel oils, and ensures particularly clean, environmentally responsible and efficient combustion. As an option, up to ten percent bio-oil can be added to the fuel oil.

Eutectoplex heating surface

The Eutectoplex heating surface guarantees a long service life and a high degree of operational reliability. When combined with the downstream, self-cleaning stainless steel Inox-Radial heat exchanger, the Vitorondens 200-T achieves standard seasonal efficiency [to DIN] of up to 97 percent (Hs) [gross cv]. The in-built Jetflow system also ensures optimal distribution of the heating water.

Inox-Radial heat exchanger installed

Combining the durable Eutectoplex heating surface with the downstream Inox-Radial heat exchanger made from stainless steel separates combustion and condensation effectively. The benefit: the combustion residues remain in the combustion chamber, whilst the combustion gases condense in the heat exchanger without leaving any residues behind.

**This lowers heating bills in the long run (e.g. by approx. €140 per year for an annual heat demand of 20,000 kWh and a fuel price of €1 per litre) and also helps the environment. After all, less fossil fuels need to be burned for the same amount of heat. (140 litres of fuel saved per year through higher efficiency – for a heat demand of 20,000 kWh – resulting in CO2  savings of 375 kg per year – the fuel oil emissions factor of 267.9 g CO2  per kWh of fuel oil can be used here to calculate the savings.)
