Exceptionally long service life

The Vitosol 300-T SP3B tube collector meets the highest criteria for efficiency and safety. Its exceptionally high solar yield makes it the most powerful collector in the Viessmann range.

Its anti-reflective glass vacuum tubes and the use of very high quality materials result in optimum output values. The highly effective thermal insulation with melamine resin foam in the header casing also contributes to that.

Temperature-dependent shutdown for high operational reliability

The small amount of fluid inside the collector and the automatic temperature-dependent shutdown ensure particularly high operational reliability. The Vitosol 300-T SP3B is therefore also recommended for systems where heat transfer is reduced at certain times (in schools, for example).

To maximise heat transfer, the condensers are completely enclosed inside the Duotec twin pipe heat exchanger. It absorbs the heat particularly well and transfers it to the heat transfer medium flowing past.

Heat pipe principle

In heat pipe systems, the solar medium does not flow directly through the tubes. Instead, a process medium evaporates inside the heat pipe below the absorber and transfers the heat to the heat transfer medium via the Duotec twin pipe heat exchanger.
